Just us the 3 Bolton girls

This is the 3rd Canvas I have completed 1 more to go. I cased this from a scrapbooking magazine. When I saw it in the the magazine I knew straight away what photo I would use. I am the eldest, I think I'm about 10 years old, Heather 8 years, Sandra 5 years old in this photo. Mum is a great sewer and she used to make us matching dresses.
I started these before I became a Stampin' Up Demo, so the only thing that is SU on this one is stamped word "just" I used basic black ink and the schoolbook serif alphabet stamps.
The verse reads

To the outside world we all grow up,
But not to sisters,
We knew each others as we always were,
We know each other's hearts,
We share private Family jokes,
We remember family feuds
And secrets, family griefs and joys,
We live outside the touch of time.

Wedding Card

Jarrod and Veronica friends from church got married today. The wedding was just lovely, The weather was great and the sun even shone. Lots of prayers were answered as we have had lots of rain and the forecast is meant to be wet till mid next week. Isn't God good. Veronica wore a beautiful white dress with long train and long veil. The bridesmaids wore lovely green knee length dresses with a gold voile overlay. The Groomsmen wore black suits, white shirts and green ties to match the bridesmaids. It was all just so lovely. This is the card I made for them. I cased it from Donna Calley's blog. She got it from Michelle's blog. These are both great blogs, and a well worth a look at.

Then I pick Savannah up from school for SPELD tutoring at 1.20pm, while she is there I go to the gym and then I pick her up at 2.20pm take her back to school. I read while waiting for kids to finish school at 3pm. Pick up from Montesorri at 4pm, home to cook tea. As you can see I'm busy on Mondays. Gardening while the sun shines.

Hi, hasn't the weather been nice? It certainly has been down here in Timaru. I have been too busy out in the garden to do any crafting. Yesterday I finished getting the vegetable garden prepared for plants and got Lettuce and mint planted. It feels good to grow your own veges.
Today I have weeded the rock garden in the front garden, its no mean feat, you need to be a bit of a mountain goat. I got some plants from a church plant sale yesterday, we have had problems getting plants to grow here before, so this time we have put lots of compost in between the rocks and we are hoping they will take this time. The end result looks good. I still have get the other side of the garden weeded, that is this weeks job.
